At Dragons Den Counseling, our TTRPG Social Skills Groups use collaborative storytelling and tabletop role-playing games to help clients practice real-life skills in a safe, supportive environment.

These groups are facilitated by Zach Webber, a licensed therapist, certified therapeutic game master, and professional game master. This allows each session to blend clinical support with the creativity, structure, and engagement of tabletop role-play.

Through guided adventures, clients can work on communication, flexibility, problem-solving, teamwork, emotional regulation, perspective-taking, and confidence in social situations.

Role-play gives clients a chance to explore choices, practice new skills, and experience meaningful moments of growth through the characters and stories they help create.

For many neurodivergent kids, teens, and adults, this approach can make developing positive social skills feel more natural, engaging, and approachable.

Tabletop roleplay is more than a game.

For many kids, teens, and adults, games like Daggerheart and Dungeons & Dragons create a safe space to practice real-life skills: making decisions, solving problems, working with others, managing frustration, building confidence, and recovering when things do not go as planned.

At Dragons Den Counseling, we use the power of story, creativity, and play to help clients explore who they are, face challenges, and grow in a way that feels engaging rather than intimidating.

Because sometimes the best way to build lifelong skills and resilience is to step into an adventure.
